Eris Drew and Octo Octa Announce Debut Album as Alchemical Sisters

The creative and life partners have finally delivered a proper album together. Alchemical Sisters lands October 18 on Interdimensional Transmissions. They converted the bedroom of their New Hampshire cabin into a studio and recorded hardware-driven psychedelic chaos, acid rollers, and big beat material they describe as animated by love, touch, rhythm, and spiritual fire. After years of strong B2B sets and individual releases, this is the logical next step. Anyone who values emotional and technical depth on the floor should mark the date.

SELVA Club Natura Opens in Ragusa, Sicily

A new open-air club has opened in the Iblean territory, the first with a year-round underground dance program. SELVA took over a fortified farmhouse near Marina di Ragusa and launched mid-August with outdoor and indoor stages, a d&b system, and an emphasis on long nights outdoors. Opening nights featured Raresh, Roi Perez and others. Local talent is programmed alongside international names. In a region without saturated club infrastructure, this is a meaningful addition.

New Listening Bar ESCUTA Set to Open in Rio de Janeiro

A three-floor listening bar is arriving on Rua General Polidoro in Botafogo. The space includes a dedicated listening room, its own radio station plans, high-quality sound focus, and a curated record library. It sits in the growing wave of venues that treat attentive listening as the main event rather than background. For dance-music people who still care about systems and selection, this is another useful data point on where the culture is heading outside traditional clubs.

Planet Wax in South London continues posting some great shop sessions. Urban Intelligence with Uncle G delivered a house and garage set recorded on site August 23. The room specializes in Jungle, Hardcore, D&B, UK Garage, House and Techno. These recordings capture both the music and the space.

HÖR Berlin uploaded Doc Martin’s August 11 set. For anyone familiar with the West Coast selector’s dry, knowledge-heavy style, this is core listening. The programming shows economy and emotional connection when the record earns it – high information density without filler.

Pan-Pot posted their full set from Rave The Planet Berlin 2026 on August 22. Extended techno with the duo’s characteristic control and pressure. Useful reference for how a festival set maintains arc over a long runtime.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse live on the beach, Zandvoort 2026 (Audiophile Quality 4K DJ Set). Melodic techno and organic groove in a sunset beach setting. Hand-made approach, high production values, deliberate emotional arc. Worth the runtime for atmosphere alone.

Ibiza Classics Vinyl Mix | Summer Anthems from Ibiza's Golden Age (1994 - 2006) | Kitchen Disco 019. All vinyl, original long versions, Technics and rotary mixer. French house and Balearic anthems played with care. A reminder that sequencing and format still matter.

Ben Klock || Dreaming Festival 2026 - Dreaming Stage. Classic Klock techno from the festival stage. Controlled power and long-form focus.

Allen & Heath Xone:K3 mapping and demonstration videos with Algoriddim djay Pro continue to circulate. Compact controller options remain relevant for selectors who travel or run hybrid setups. Worth a quick look if evaluating portable MIDI that still feels substantial.
